Genesis: Like many good things, the Scape Sisters are a by-product of the 'farscaped' yahoogroup. The core of what was to become the first German Scape vidding collective met at a local meeting of Scapers from that group in November 2001. We soon discovered a high compatibility of our fannish preferences and got to know each other better over the next year and a half.
		We've all appreciated fan music videos for quite a while, so it was a logical step to try our hand(s) at vidding ourselves. AnduraNova got the ball rolling when she made her first vid, an angst fest to Queen's „Who Want's To Live Forever“, in April 2003. The Sisters as a group were born soon after, as a way to pool creative energies as much as an excuse for us to spend entire evenings together drooling over Scape. Not that we really need an excuse for that... We're an amorphous group, open to contributions from whoever happens to be available during the making of a new vid – the more's the merrier. We even have an honorary male sister. ;-)
